Traditional Mortar with NHL 2 (Feebly Hydraulic Lime).

A low strength, slow setting lime mortar mix for internal building work and soft, chalky or crumbling masonry. This material also makes an excellent hydraulic lime plaster. It contains feebly hydraulic, NHL2 lime and a selected blend of masonry sands and aggregates. This is a traditional building material, 100% natural with no additives or synthentic enhancements.

For general building work under normal conditions or anything else we haven't mentioned here you should be ok with the medium strength NHL 3.5 Lime Mortar.

NHL 2 is a weaker type of hydraulic lime mortar. It is a slow setting, low strength mix that can be used for soft, crumbling or chalky masonry. This material is also suitable for non-exposed, internal building work.
